Kassinurme Hillfort and Sacred Grove
The Kassinurme ancient area was established 1.5 thousand years ago. The sacred grove was discovered when the settlement was established, and it is one of the oldest sacred places in Estonia. A fragment of the ancient fort has been restored. At present the sacred grove is the favourite place for history enthusiasts who organise ancient war games there, revive old folk customs, and celebrate folk calendar holidays. The health trail lets visitors see the varied nature of the region and enjoy beautiful surface forms.

In addition to water buckets, there are ladles as well as foot- and headrests. In addition to local wood crafts, we sell Estonian natural cosmetics, as well as beautiful textiles and carpets. Estonian design and handicrafts can be found on our two floors. In addition to shopping, you can also order various workshops from us and have a bite to eat in our cafe.
The Seminar Rooms of the Voore Guesthouse
The Voore Guesthouse has the perfect atmosphere and facilities for organising training courses, conferences, seminars, meetings and promotional or other business events. Kuremaa Castle and Park
Kuremaa Classicist manor house was built in 1837-1843 by the von Oettingen family. The manor house was designed by the architect E. J. T. Strauss from Tartu. There is also a room for a museum in the castle which gives an overview of the region and of the history of Kuremaa Agricultural School. At present the rooms of the castle are used for organising conferences. The park rich in species descends towards lake Kuremaa which attracts visitors with its well-kept beach and possibilities for taking a rest.
Peipsi Teemaja Arts and Crafts Shop
Peipsi Teemaja Arts and Crafts Shop offers a wide selection of local handicrafts. There is a large selection of baskets, sauna buckets, thermometers, etc. for sale from the Avinurme Woodworking Centre. You will also find a selection of knitted mittens from local grandmothers, which will keep your hands warm even in the cold Estonian weather. In addition, you simply have to try Ivan Chai when near Lake Peipus. You can also buy it as a gift. We also offer delicious local food and sweets.
Seminar rooms at the Village Elder Carl Schmidt’s House
Village Elder Carl Schmidt's House has two rooms for seminars and other meetings. The hall on the first floor accommodates 100 people and there's also a bar. The cozy fireplace hall on the second floor accommodates 26 people.
Central Estonian Art Gallery pART
Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.
Põltsamaa Castle Restaurant Konvent seminar rooms
The restaurant Konvent is located between the castle walls of Põltsamaa – it is a cosy place for organising seminars as well as celebrating various events, such as birthdays and weddings. The large and spacious room can accommodate up to 100 people. There is Wi-Fi and seminar equipment in the room. You can also order coffee breaks and lunch and dinner from us! Catering for groups is available upon reservation.
Seminars at Trofee Hunting Lodge
There are two seminar rooms in the Trofee Hunting Lodge - a larger room which will comfortably accommodate up to 80 people in theatre style or 30 people at a U-shaped table, and a smaller room which will accommodate up to 20 people. The fittings in the rooms are easy to rearrange so as to meet your needs and ensure that your event is exactly how you want it to be - and a great success. Palamuse O. Luts’s Parish School Museum
The historical Palamuse Parish Schoolhouse is now open to visitors as it was seen in 1895. There, you will find the classroom and the living rooms of the parish clerk, known from the movie Kevade. The heart of the museum is located in the freshly completed main building, where you will also find a classroom and a workshop. The main exhibition of the main building is meant for the whole family, reflecting the history of the Estonian parish schools through Kevade.
