Põltsamaa Rose Garden
The rose garden exhibits 5000 rose plants and almost 1000 different rose varieties. During the excursion visitors will see various rose varieties, and they will learn about their history and legends and other interesting facts. Roses mostly bloom from the middle of June to the middle of September, depending on the weather.
Rivaal Cafe
Rivaal Cafe is in the centre of Põltsamaa, on the shores of the river and with views to Roosisaar Island. It has its own fireplace, as well as a private room catering for groups of up to 40 people.
Põltsamaa Museum
Põltsamaa Museum is located within the walls of the ancient Põltsamaa Ordensburg. Põltsamaa Museum gives an overview of the glorious past of the stronghold, town and the parish: Interesting facts: During the Livonian War the castle was the residence of the King of Livonia In the 19th century the castle was a Rococo style castle, a flourishing centre of culture and industry.
Põltsamaa Castle
The stone fortress was constructed on the banks of the Põltsamaa River already in 1272. Later on (1570–1578) the fortress was the residence of Livonia's King Magnus. Repeatedly pillaged, the castle was rebuilt by Woldemar Johann von Lauw. In the 18th century the fortress became a grand rococo-style palace. The castle and the church burnt down in 1941. Only the church was restored in 1952. The castle remained in ruins, waiting for its time. The complex is open again from the summer of 2023. Adavere ice skating rink
Adavere ice skating rink is open to all skaters next to the manor school in the town of the same name, around 120 km from Tallinn on the Tallinn-Tartu Highway. You can see it from the road.
Central Estonian Art Gallery pART
Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.

We offer handicraft admirers items that we have made ourselves as well as those made by other craftsmen. We also sell a wide range of handicraft supplies, materials and tools. We love what we do and pass that love on to you!
Lake Kamari recreation area
Lake Kamari recreation area has become an extremely popular destination among holiday-makers for its beautiful views and forests. There are two jetties, areas for beach volleyball and football, a shower and toilets, benches and a playground for small children with swings and a slide. The swimming area is marked by buoys and there is also a children's pool.

A cosy and comfortable café located near historic Põltsamaa castle. Come and enjoy great food and company on our outdoor terrace or in our snug and warm café. All families, groups and passers-by whose mind and body needs some replenishing are welcome.
Conference rooms of the Puurmani Manor
The main building of the Puurmani manor is an excellent place for meetings, seminars or trainings. The rooms are also available for birthdays, weddings, wakes and other events. In addition, we provide catering and guided tours (advance booking only).
