Sarapiku Farm Corn Labyrinth
Toretalu Farm awaits guests to solve the game hidden in the corn jungle and take part in other activities put up at the yard that test their cleverness and skills. In the corn labyrinth you have to find six check points with a map. The corn has grown to the size of a person, there are many converging paths in the jungle and finally you have to find the exit. Are you ready for the test?
Udu Farm
Udu Farm is a lovely holiday complex on the shores of Lake Kuremaa. The historical Palamuse and Kuremaa castles are just a few kilometres away. Guests have the use of 12 cabins, a sauna, a large party building, 4 covered areas, an extreme plastic film sauna and a children's play area. You can also rent the sauna complex, which has its own kitchenette and which accommodates 12-19 people on the upstairs level. Boats are available for hire and you can go fishing on the lake.
Päevatalu Cabins
PÄEVATALU CABINS are situated in a beautiful location on the shore of Lake Peipsi. It is one of the places on the shore of Lake Peipsi, where one can recharge their batteries. We offer: cabins, a barbecue house, a sauna. We also have football, basketball and volleyball fields. In addition, you can rent a rowing boat or a speedboat (only with a driver).
Kassinurme Hillfort and Sacred Grove
The Kassinurme ancient area was established 1.5 thousand years ago. The sacred grove was discovered when the settlement was established, and it is one of the oldest sacred places in Estonia. A fragment of the ancient fort has been restored. At present the sacred grove is the favourite place for history enthusiasts who organise ancient war games there, revive old folk customs, and celebrate folk calendar holidays. The health trail lets visitors see the varied nature of the region and enjoy beautiful surface forms.
Jõgewa Museum
Jõgewa Museum displays historical items that are mostly connected to the history of Jõgeva County; the general title of the exhibition is 'Jõgeva County's Local History 1900–1945'. A particularly interesting section of the exhibition features weapons used during WWII. Good to know: schools can organize history lessons on the museum premises.
Virtus Hostel
Virtus Hostel forms part of a large sports complex. It provides accommodation to athletes and those attending sports camps. It is situated far away from the nearest town to allow visitors to enjoy true peace and quiet, but close enough to allow them to walk there within just 10 minutes.
Kuremaa Castle and Park
Kuremaa Classicist manor house was built in 1837-1843 by the von Oettingen family. The manor house was designed by the architect E. J. T. Strauss from Tartu. There is also a room for a museum in the castle which gives an overview of the region and of the history of Kuremaa Agricultural School. At present the rooms of the castle are used for organising conferences. The park rich in species descends towards lake Kuremaa which attracts visitors with its well-kept beach and possibilities for taking a rest.
Kalevipoeg’s Museum
The Kalevipoeg Museum represents one of the 21 places, marked with a National Geographic's yellow window, that are worth exploring in Southern Estonia. The museum is named after Estonian national epic "Kalevipoeg" because the Kääpa River is where the sword of Kalevipoeg is located, and around it are resting places, rocks, springs, swamps, and furrows. In Kalevipoeg Museum, you get a good overview of the Estonian national epic. Mustvee Guesthouse
The Mustvee Guesthouse is located in the small, green town of Mustvee just a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and Lake Peipsi, and the Jõhvi-Tartu highway. The Mustvee Guesthouse has been opened since 2000. It is an ideal place for smaller and larger groups with rooms for people of all tastes. We have a conference room, fireplace room, kitchen, sauna and parking lot. We offer pleasure trips and fishing on Lake Peipsi -- by boat in the summer and by sleigh in the winter.
Central Estonian Art Gallery pART
Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.
