Kalevipoeg’s Museum
The Kalevipoeg Museum represents one of the 21 places, marked with a National Geographic's yellow window, that are worth exploring in Southern Estonia. The museum is named after Estonian national epic "Kalevipoeg" because the Kääpa River is where the sword of Kalevipoeg is located, and around it are resting places, rocks, springs, swamps, and furrows. Alo Mattiisen’s piano classroom
In the centre of the town, at Jõgeva Music School, where Alo Mattiisen studied, a memorial was unveiled to mark his 45th birthday. Five years later, in 2011, his piano classroom was also completed to celebrate his 50th birthday. It features his fully restored piano and a display of the composer's personal items. The classroom can be used to host small concerts, training sessions, conferences and music lessons.
Põltsamaa Rose Garden
The rose garden exhibits 5000 rose plants and almost 1000 different rose varieties. During the excursion visitors will see various rose varieties, and they will learn about their history and legends and other interesting facts. Roses mostly bloom from the middle of June to the middle of September, depending on the weather.
Rivaal Cafe
Rivaal Cafe is in the centre of Põltsamaa, on the shores of the river and with views to Roosisaar Island. It has its own fireplace, as well as a private room catering for groups of up to 40 people.
Kuremaa mill
Kuremaa mill is part of the Kuremaa manor complex; the fully renovated mill reopened in 2009. The ground floor is home to a function room with its own fireplace and a sales counter, while the first floor is the perfect place for exhibitions and training events. The second floor hosts an exhibition on the Dutch-style windmills that can be found in Estonia – including its most impressive piece, a model of the Kuremaa windmill. Kuremaa Castle and Park
Kuremaa Classicist manor house was built in 1837-1843 by the von Oettingen family. The manor house was designed by the architect E. J. T. Strauss from Tartu. There is also a room for a museum in the castle which gives an overview of the region and of the history of Kuremaa Agricultural School. At present the rooms of the castle are used for organising conferences. The park rich in species descends towards lake Kuremaa which attracts visitors with its well-kept beach and possibilities for taking a rest.
Adavere ice skating rink
Adavere ice skating rink is open to all skaters next to the manor school in the town of the same name, around 120 km from Tallinn on the Tallinn-Tartu Highway. You can see it from the road.
Central Estonian Art Gallery pART
Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.

Udu Farm
Udu Farm is a lovely holiday complex on the shores of Lake Kuremaa. The historical Palamuse and Kuremaa castles are just a few kilometres away. Guests have the use of 12 cabins, a sauna, a large party building, 4 covered areas, an extreme plastic film sauna and a children's play area. You can also rent the sauna complex, which has its own kitchenette and which accommodates 12-19 people on the upstairs level. Boats are available for hire and you can go fishing on the lake.
