The beautiful Luua Manor is home to the museum rooms of Luua Forestry School, which showcase the history of both the school and the manor. A number of the rooms in the manor have been restored to their original state and opened up to visitors. Avinurme Puiduait Arts & Crafts Store has the largest selection of wooden handicrafts in Estonia. Baskets, water buckets for sauna, hot pads, spatulas, butter knives, and thousands of other accessories for the kitchen and household. In addition to water buckets, there are ladles as well as foot- and headrests. In addition to local wood crafts, we sell Estonian natural cosmetics, as well as beautiful textiles and carpets. Mokko Farm
Mokko is suitable for those who love nature, peace and quiet. We can accommodate individual tourists, families with children and groups of up to 30 people. Kassinurme Hillfort and Sacred Grove
The Kassinurme ancient area was established 1.5 thousand years ago. The sacred grove was discovered when the settlement was established, and it is one of the oldest sacred places in Estonia. A fragment of the ancient fort has been restored. At present the sacred grove is the favourite place for history enthusiasts who organise ancient war games there, revive old folk customs, and celebrate folk calendar holidays. The health trail lets visitors see the varied nature of the region and enjoy beautiful surface forms.
Peipsi Teemaja Arts and Crafts Shop
Peipsi Teemaja Arts and Crafts Shop offers a wide selection of local handicrafts. There is a large selection of baskets, sauna buckets, thermometers, etc. for sale from the Avinurme Woodworking Centre. You will also find a selection of knitted mittens from local grandmothers, which will keep your hands warm even in the cold Estonian weather. In addition, you simply have to try Ivan Chai when near Lake Peipus. You can also buy it as a gift. We also offer delicious local food and sweets.
The Seminar Rooms of the Voore Guesthouse
The Voore Guesthouse has the perfect atmosphere and facilities for organising training courses, conferences, seminars, meetings and promotional or other business events. The furniture and equipment can be placed according to the client's needs, and we offer WiFi, an illuminated parking lot, catering, reasonably priced accommodation and a range of both relaxing and invigorating activities.
Kuremaa Castle and Park
Kuremaa Classicist manor house was built in 1837-1843 by the von Oettingen family. The manor house was designed by the architect E. J. T. Strauss from Tartu. There is also a room for a museum in the castle which gives an overview of the region and of the history of Kuremaa Agricultural School. At present the rooms of the castle are used for organising conferences. The park rich in species descends towards lake Kuremaa which attracts visitors with its well-kept beach and possibilities for taking a rest.
Põltsamaa Castle Restaurant Konvent seminar rooms
The restaurant Konvent is located between the castle walls of Põltsamaa – it is a cosy place for organising seminars as well as celebrating various events, such as birthdays and weddings. The large and spacious room can accommodate up to 100 people. There is Wi-Fi and seminar equipment in the room. You can also order coffee breaks and lunch and dinner from us! Catering for groups is available upon reservation.
Seminar rooms at the Village Elder Carl Schmidt’s House
Village Elder Carl Schmidt's House has two rooms for seminars and other meetings. The hall on the first floor accommodates 100 people and there's also a bar. The cozy fireplace hall on the second floor accommodates 26 people.
Central Estonian Art Gallery pART
Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.
