St. Nicholas’ church, Põltsamaa
This Lutheran church, originally constructed on a bastion and the town's walls, was restored from its war-time ruins 50 years ago. Its altar, pulpit, lights and tower bells (XIX) are from the now defunct University of Tartu church.
Kuningamäe Winter Centre
Kuningamägi hill in Põltsamaa has an exciting new addition – a slope for mountain sports that is open to all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts! On the slope with a 140-metre ascent, you can ride the snowboard or ski for about a couple of hundred metres. The profile of the track is intended for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts, but is also suitable for more experienced athletes. Hunting Lodge Trofee
Trofee welcomes you in Central Estonia, on the shore of river Pedja. The hunting lodge was built in 2008 on a place where an old watermill used to stand, for people who love nature and its spectacles, but also a little comfort and luxury in the middle of a forest. Trofee is owned by a family where hunting has been a lifestyle for centuries and birdwatching is their great passion. Võisiku manor
Võisiku manor was first mentioned in 1558. It was one of the biggest manors in Livonia in the 18th and 19th centuries, stretching from Põltsamaa to Lake Võrtsjärv. There were 52 buildings on the manor originally, some of which we can still see today, and a further 67 in outlying parts of the manor and its mirror factory. Põltsamaa Castle Restaurant Konvent seminar rooms
The restaurant Konvent is located between the castle walls of Põltsamaa – it is a cosy place for organising seminars as well as celebrating various events, such as birthdays and weddings. The large and spacious room can accommodate up to 100 people. There is Wi-Fi and seminar equipment in the room. You can also order coffee breaks and lunch and dinner from us! Catering for groups is available upon reservation.
Seminar rooms at the Village Elder Carl Schmidt’s House
Village Elder Carl Schmidt's House has two rooms for seminars and other meetings. The hall on the first floor accommodates 100 people and there's also a bar. The cozy fireplace hall on the second floor accommodates 26 people.
Pajusi manor
Pajusi manor was constructed in the 17th century. Its long, stone main building in Classicist style is thought to have been erected in the early 19th century. It was one-storey; only the central section was adorned with a small upper floor, which bears a distinct decorative window. In addition to the main building, the manor as a whole includes a number of other buildings and a large park. Kursi summer manor
The Kursi summer manor was built by count Manteuffel in 1888 as a place to retreat from the buzz and daily activities of the manor centre. Guesthouse at the Village Elder Carl Schmidt’s House
Carl Schmidt's House, the light-coloured 2-storey wooden guesthouse, is located in the heart of the small town of Põltsamaa in Central Estonia, 1 km from the Tallinn-Tartu road. The guesthouse's cafe and restaurant for up to 100 persons are located on the ground floor and all bedrooms for up to 45 persons are on the first floor. Did you know that the house was named after the former village elder Carl Schmidt, who was active in many areas of local life.
