Alo Mattiisen’s piano classroom

In the centre of the town, at Jõgeva Music School, where Alo Mattiisen studied, a memorial was unveiled to mark his 45th birthday. Five years later, in 2011, his piano classroom was also completed to celebrate his 50th birthday. It features his fully restored piano and a display of the composer's personal items. The classroom can be used to host small concerts, training sessions, conferences and music lessons.

Kuremaa mill

Kuremaa mill is part of the Kuremaa manor complex; the fully renovated mill reopened in 2009. The ground floor is home to a function room with its own fireplace and a sales counter, while the first floor is the perfect place for exhibitions and training events. The second floor hosts an exhibition on the Dutch-style windmills that can be found in Estonia – including its most impressive piece, a model of the Kuremaa windmill. There is a mystic spring on the Laiuse drumlin. The spring was used as a sacrificial spring during the second millennium and considered a holy place by ancient Estonians. Luua Manor museum rooms

The beautiful Luua Manor is home to the museum rooms of Luua Forestry School, which showcase the history of both the school and the manor. A number of the rooms in the manor have been restored to their original state and opened up to visitors. Kuremaa Swimming Pool Guesthouse

RMK Lake Endla hiking trail

The Lake Endla hiking trail starts at the information board located in Kärde village and ends at Tooma by the Centre of Endla Nature Reserve. It takes an average of 3-4 hours to walk the trail. Before reaching Tooma, the trail joins the Männikjärve bog study trail. The trail takes you through the forest and bog on boardwalks, thus the change of landscape is versatile and interesting. Kassinurme Hillfort and Sacred Grove

The Kassinurme ancient area was established 1.5 thousand years ago.  The sacred grove was discovered when the settlement was established, and it is one of the oldest sacred places in Estonia. A fragment of the ancient fort has been restored. At present the sacred grove is the favourite place for history enthusiasts who organise ancient war games there, revive old folk customs, and celebrate folk calendar holidays. The health trail lets visitors see the varied nature of the region and enjoy beautiful surface forms.

Veski Guesthouse Cafe

The cafe has a nice interior and a children’s play area and is located next to the Jõgeva–Mustvee highway, in Kantküla. We offer a delicious buffet on every working day. In the summer, we also have an a la carte menu. Our meals are mostly made from seasonal local raw ingredients. Here, you can enjoy your meals inside or, if the weather is good, on the outdoor terrace. You can also organise your anniversaries, thematic events, and seminars here.
