Mokko is suitable for those who love nature, peace and quiet. We can accommodate individual tourists, families with children and groups of up to 30 people. Pajusi manor
Pajusi manor was constructed in the 17th century. Its long, stone main building in Classicist style is thought to have been erected in the early 19th century. It was one-storey; only the central section was adorned with a small upper floor, which bears a distinct decorative window. Peipsi Teemaja Arts and Crafts Shop offers a wide selection of local handicrafts. There is a large selection of baskets, sauna buckets, thermometers, etc. for sale from the Avinurme Woodworking Centre. You will also find a selection of knitted mittens from local grandmothers, which will keep your hands warm even in the cold Estonian weather. In addition, you simply have to try Ivan Chai when near Lake Peipus. You can also buy it as a gift. We also offer delicious local food and sweets.
Permanent exhibition “Lake Peipus Living Room”
Lake Peipus Living Room is a permanent exhibition that gives visitors information about the natural conditions in Lake Peipus and the lives of people living by the lake. This cafe, situated in the heart of Põltsamaa, provides catering to up to 100 people (with group menus available). Daily soups and specials are also offered. Live music evenings are held here from time to time, and in the summer you can enjoy the fine weather on the terrace, which seats up to 30.
Veski Guesthouse Cafe
The cafe has a nice interior and a children’s play area and is located next to the Jõgeva–Mustvee highway, in Kantküla. We offer a delicious buffet on every working day.
