“Route House” Motel
Route House 39 provides friendly service and cosy accommodation throughout the year in the town of Jõgeva. Route House is a multifaceted roadside business -- this complex is located 1 km from the centre of town on the Piibe highway that is marked on the map as highway 39. The Piibe highway is a historic road between Tallinn and Tartu.
Aruküla hill recreation area
There is a lovely recreation area on Aruküla hill in Kaarepere which is perfect for families, friends, and larger groups. There is a playground with swings and a slide, especially loved by younger children. You can rest under the shelter or on benches or your own picnic blanket. Barbecue facilities are also available on site. Visitors can also play disc golf (there is a rental point). The Struve Geodetic Arc is also located in the recreation area. The view of Vooremaa from the hill is magnificent and there is plenty of room for camping.
Restaurant Kosmos
The restaurant consists of two parts: an 80-seat main dining room and a separate private dining room for up to 35 guests. The main dining room offers a cosy atmosphere and WiFi. The small dining room is suitable for smaller gatherings booked in advance (birthdays, company parties).
Coop Hotel
Coop Hotel is located on the main street of Jõgeva, in the city centre, in a house with a dignified history. It all started almost 100 years ago in 1919, when the Jõgeva Economic Union was formed – the goal was to open a main store in the town.Coop Hotel opened its doors in September 2021, continuing the long history of the house. Monument to cold weather in Jõgeva
A monument to cold weather has been erected on the Piibe road on the outskirts of Jõgeva, where the lowest ever temperature in Estonia (-43.5*C) was recorded in 1940. The monument also highlights the most recent record of -37.6*C from 2003, also recorded in Jõgeva.
Winter village
At the beginning of wintertime, the whole winter village becomes a Christmas wonderland. Santa's brother Glämmi lives with elves and other characters in the Torma Manor complex in Jõgeva County. The winter village puts everyone in a Christmas mood, regardless of age. During the week, we welcome groups from kindergartens, schools, and companies. Suur Paunvere Exhibition and Fair
The Great Paunvere Exhibition and Fair with long-standing traditions, but with a new face, will be hold already for the 25th time! One of the highlights of this year's fair is domestic and organic production, especially the products of the Palamuse region. All new and old traders - with handicrafts, agricultural products, antiques or other exciting stuff - hurry to register, because we expect up to twenty thousand visitors in total!
