The house of rural town elder Carl Schmidt
This cafe, situated in the heart of Põltsamaa, provides catering to up to 100 people (with group menus available). Daily soups and specials are also offered. Live music evenings are held here from time to time, and in the summer you can enjoy the fine weather on the terrace, which seats up to 30.
Veski Guesthouse
Lovely and cosy Veski Guesthouse is located by the Jõgeva-Mustvee highway. We offer accommodation as well as catering and seminar rooms to our clients. Here, you can organise birthdays or theme events according to your wishes.
Veski Guesthouse Cafe
The cafe has a nice interior and a children’s play area and is located next to the Jõgeva–Mustvee highway, in Kantküla. We offer a delicious buffet on every working day. In the summer, we also have an a la carte menu. Our meals are mostly made from seasonal local raw ingredients. Here, you can enjoy your meals inside or, if the weather is good, on the outdoor terrace. You can also organise your anniversaries, thematic events, and seminars here. We also offer accommodation on the first floor of the cafe.
Puiduait seminar room in Avinurme
The rooms at Puiduait in Avinurme are perfect for training events, seminars and workshops. There are three seminar rooms: hall (36 seats), wood room (20 seats) and the bread room (20 seats). The Puiduait has an ethnical atmosphere and you can add some fun workshops into your training programme: weaving a basket, baking bread, felting and many more. Tables can be arranged differently in the hall: 1. U-shape – max. 30 seats 2. Roundtable – max. 36 seats 3. Classroom – max. 36 seats
Rivaal Cafe
Rivaal Cafe is in the centre of Põltsamaa, on the shores of the river and with views to Roosisaar Island. It has its own fireplace, as well as a private room catering for groups of up to 40 people.
Udu Farm
Udu Farm is a lovely holiday complex on the shores of Lake Kuremaa. The historical Palamuse and Kuremaa castles are just a few kilometres away. Guests have the use of 12 cabins, a sauna, a large party building, 4 covered areas, an extreme plastic film sauna and a children's play area. You can also rent the sauna complex, which has its own kitchenette and which accommodates 12-19 people on the upstairs level. Boats are available for hire and you can go fishing on the lake.
Kuremaa Swimming Pool and mini-SPA
Kuremaa Swimming Pool and mini-SPA is open seasonally and there are three swimming pools: a 25-metre with four lanes, a children’s pool, and a pool with different attractions in the SPA. In addition to swimming, you can go to a Finnish, family, and private sauna (in the pool section) or a salt, Finnish, and steam sauna (in the SPA). There is also a solarium, a beauty and massage salon, a gym, indoor court for ball games, a cafe, and a seminar room. Accommodation is available in the building next to us.
Karu Holiday Home
Laiusevälja in Jõgeva County is an authentic Estonian village with fields of grazing animals and dusty roads in summer lined with stalks of grain. The courtyard of Karu Holiday Home is designed to look like it would have done last century, replete with apple tress and berry bushes. The holiday home offers year-round accommodation for up to 9 people, while its dining table seats up to 14. The building also has all of the facilities needed to serve the disabled.
Põltsamaa Castle
The stone fortress was constructed on the banks of the Põltsamaa River already in 1272. Later on (1570–1578) the fortress was the residence of Livonia's King Magnus. Repeatedly pillaged, the castle was rebuilt by Woldemar Johann von Lauw. In the 18th century the fortress became a grand rococo-style palace. The castle and the church burnt down in 1941. Only the church was restored in 1952. The castle remained in ruins, waiting for its time. The complex is open again from the summer of 2023. Virtus Hostel forms part of a large sports complex. It provides accommodation to athletes and those attending sports camps. It is situated far away from the nearest town to allow visitors to enjoy true peace and quiet, but close enough to allow them to walk there within just 10 minutes.
