Põltsamaa Castle
The stone fortress was constructed on the banks of the Põltsamaa River already in 1272. Later on (1570–1578) the fortress was the residence of Livonia's King Magnus. Repeatedly pillaged, the castle was rebuilt by Woldemar Johann von Lauw. In the 18th century the fortress became a grand rococo-style palace. The castle and the church burnt down in 1941. Pajusi manor
Pajusi manor was constructed in the 17th century. Its long, stone main building in Classicist style is thought to have been erected in the early 19th century. It was one-storey; only the central section was adorned with a small upper floor, which bears a distinct decorative window. In addition to the main building, the manor as a whole includes a number of other buildings and a large park. Põltsamaa Museum
Põltsamaa Museum is located within the walls of the ancient Põltsamaa Ordensburg. A cosy and comfortable café located near historic Põltsamaa castle. Come and enjoy great food and company on our outdoor terrace or in our snug and warm café. All families, groups and passers-by whose mind and body needs some replenishing are welcome.
Conference rooms of the Puurmani Manor
The main building of the Puurmani manor is an excellent place for meetings, seminars or trainings. The rooms are also available for birthdays, weddings, wakes and other events. In addition, we provide catering and guided tours (advance booking only).
Põltsamaa Castle Restaurant Konvent seminar rooms
The restaurant Konvent is located between the castle walls of Põltsamaa – it is a cosy place for organising seminars as well as celebrating various events, such as birthdays and weddings. The large and spacious room can accommodate up to 100 people. There is Wi-Fi and seminar equipment in the room. You can also order coffee breaks and lunch and dinner from us! Catering for groups is available upon reservation.
Vahe Guesthouse
Whether you are an adventurer, a tourist, or on a business trip and looking for accommodation – come to Vahe Guesthouse. We are located in the city centre of Põltsamaa, at the corner of the quiet Vahe and Pargi streets. The river and the nearest grocery store are 200 metres away. Põltsamaa Castle is within walking distance (500 metres).
Kursi summer manor
The Kursi summer manor was built by count Manteuffel in 1888 as a place to retreat from the buzz and daily activities of the manor centre. Seminar rooms at the Village Elder Carl Schmidt’s House
Village Elder Carl Schmidt's House has two rooms for seminars and other meetings. The hall on the first floor accommodates 100 people and there's also a bar. The cozy fireplace hall on the second floor accommodates 26 people.
W Café
We are located in WPark - Põltsamaa wakepark and we offer delicious dishes for every taste. Both WPark guest and people from the surrounding area are welcome. In our menu you can find fries, burgers, steaks, soups, daily specials, and more. The menu also includes pastries, cakes, coffee and cocktails. Lively concerts and parties take place on the café's terrace in wonderful summer evenings. During the off-season, we offer a catering service and room rental with a sauna. We offer breakfast porridge in the café, Mon-Fri at 9:30-11:30. Daily specials are available Mon-Fri from 12:00.
