Kalevipoeg’s Home
Kalevipoeg's Home consists of the Kalevipoeg Museum, Kalevipoeg's Adventure Park, Kalevipoeg's Playground, and Saare Community Centre. The Kalevipoeg Museum provides an excellent overview of the Estonian national epic "Kalevipoeg". In the Kalevipoeg's Adventure Park, you can choose between lower or higher adventure trails and challenge yourself between the ground and the sky. Those who wish can also play discgolf. Põltsamaa Adventure Park
Põltsamaa Adventure Park is located in WPark, a summer mecca that offers active holidays, adventure, and fun water sports. Our adventure park is built on 9-metre-high pillars, which makes it one of the most unique adventure parks in Estonia. Climbing is done floor by floor, and each new level brings more excitement and challenges. There are 60 platforms in total and at the end there's a 130 m long zipline to the small island on Lake Kamari. Kuremaa Castle and Park
Kuremaa Classicist manor house was built in 1837-1843 by the von Oettingen family. The manor house was designed by the architect E. J. T. Strauss from Tartu. There is also a room for a museum in the castle which gives an overview of the region and of the history of Kuremaa Agricultural School. At present the rooms of the castle are used for organising conferences. The park rich in species descends towards lake Kuremaa which attracts visitors with its well-kept beach and possibilities for taking a rest.
Siimusti Clay Industry
Siimusti Ceramics operates from the clay factory, which was founded in 1886 by Joosep Tiimann, a man born from a family of farmers. The location was suitable due to the clay deposits present here. At first the brick manufactury was created; afterwards they started producing oven pots and dishware. Nowadays you can get acquainted with the manufacturing process of ceramics: The pouring of clay into the mold and the firing and glazing processes. The end product can be bought onsite.
Weaving Chipwood Baskets in the Avinurme Wooden Handicrafts Center
Weaving a chipwood basket is the most popular attraction in the wooden handicraft centre and if there's a place in Estonia where this craft is known, it's Avinurme. Everyone can learn the basics of weaving a basket in the workshop with the help of an instructor: you pick out chipwood, weave a berry basket from the chips and finally apply a finish. All the participants will be given the necessary tools for weaving a basket and at the end of the workshop you have your own basket. Central Estonian Art Gallery pART
Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.

Puiduait seminar room in Avinurme
The rooms at Puiduait in Avinurme are perfect for training events, seminars and workshops. There are three seminar rooms: hall (36 seats), wood room (20 seats) and the bread room (20 seats). The Puiduait has an ethnical atmosphere and you can add some fun workshops into your training programme: weaving a basket, baking bread, felting and many more. Tables can be arranged differently in the hall: 1. U-shape – max. 30 seats 2. Roundtable – max. 36 seats 3. Classroom – max. 36 seats
Palamuse O. Luts’s Parish School Museum
The historical Palamuse Parish Schoolhouse is now open to visitors as it was seen in 1895. There, you will find the classroom and the living rooms of the parish clerk, known from the movie Kevade. The heart of the museum is located in the freshly completed main building, where you will also find a classroom and a workshop. The main exhibition of the main building is meant for the whole family, reflecting the history of the Estonian parish schools through Kevade. Avinurme Puiduait Arts & Crafts Store has the largest selection of wooden handicrafts in Estonia. Baskets, water buckets for sauna, hot pads, spatulas, butter knives, and thousands of other accessories for the kitchen and household. In addition to water buckets, there are ladles as well as foot- and headrests. In addition to local wood crafts, we sell Estonian natural cosmetics, as well as beautiful textiles and carpets. Estonian design and handicrafts can be found on our two floors. In addition to shopping, you can also order various workshops from us and have a bite to eat in our cafe.
