W Café
We are located in WPark - Põltsamaa wakepark and we offer delicious dishes for every taste. Both WPark guest and people from the surrounding area are welcome. In our menu you can find fries, burgers, steaks, soups, daily specials, and more. The menu also includes pastries, cakes, coffee and cocktails. Lively concerts and parties take place on the café's terrace in wonderful summer evenings. During the off-season, we offer a catering service and room rental with a sauna. We offer breakfast porridge in the café, Mon-Fri at 9:30-11:30. Daily specials are available Mon-Fri from 12:00.
Kuremaa beach
The northern shore of Lake Kuremaa is home to the only beach in Jõgeva County manned by lifeguards. Here you will find a 250-metre stretch of golden sand, aquabikes and boat hire, a beachfront cafe, a playground, areas for ball games, a caravan park and more. You can also camp here. The swimming area is marked by buoys. The water temperature is measured constantly, with information provided on special stands.
Jõgewa Museum
Jõgewa Museum displays historical items that are mostly connected to the history of Jõgeva County; the general title of the exhibition is 'Jõgeva County's Local History 1900–1945'. A particularly interesting section of the exhibition features weapons used during WWII. Good to know: schools can organize history lessons on the museum premises.
Põltsamaa Adventure Park
Põltsamaa Adventure Park is located in WPark, a summer mecca that offers active holidays, adventure, and fun water sports. Our adventure park is built on 9-metre-high pillars, which makes it one of the most unique adventure parks in Estonia. Climbing is done floor by floor, and each new level brings more excitement and challenges. There are 60 platforms in total and at the end there's a 130 m long zipline to the small island on Lake Kamari. Jerjomin Glass Studio
Jerjomin Glass Studio OÜ makes glass souvenirs and art by melting glass. We sell handcraft products and guests can take part in making the products. Our aim is to offer our customers beautiful, genuine and quality goods and great service. We also have workshops where an instructor will give tips on how you can make your own souvenirs or anything else. A few days later, after the glass melting procedure is finished, guests will receive their souvenir by mail.
Kalevipoeg’s Museum
The Kalevipoeg Museum represents one of the 21 places, marked with a National Geographic's yellow window, that are worth exploring in Southern Estonia. The museum is named after Estonian national epic "Kalevipoeg" because the Kääpa River is where the sword of Kalevipoeg is located, and around it are resting places, rocks, springs, swamps, and furrows. In Kalevipoeg Museum, you get a good overview of the Estonian national epic. The house of rural town elder Carl Schmidt
This cafe, situated in the heart of Põltsamaa, provides catering to up to 100 people (with group menus available). Daily soups and specials are also offered. Live music evenings are held here from time to time, and in the summer you can enjoy the fine weather on the terrace, which seats up to 30.
Luua Arboretum
Luua Arboretum exhibits about 500 species and forms of trees and bushes. The arboretum was founded based on the principles of botanical geography with the departments for plants from Europe, Siberia, Central Asia, the Far East and North America.
Rivaal Cafe
Rivaal Cafe is in the centre of Põltsamaa, on the shores of the river and with views to Roosisaar Island. It has its own fireplace, as well as a private room catering for groups of up to 40 people.
Avinurme Woodworking Centre
Avinurme Woodworking Centre is a tourism centre which is home to local craftsmen. It offers the widest selection of woodwork products in Estonia, including dozens of sauna and household items. You can even put your own skills to the test! The centre organises a variety of workshops, from basket-weaving and felting to bread-making, candle-making, painting and more. The cosy coffee shop offers home-made cakes and pastries, fresh bread and other treats. Arranged in advance, it can provide catering for groups of up to 80 people.
