Palamuse O. Luts’s Parish School Museum
The historical Palamuse Parish Schoolhouse is now open to visitors as it was seen in 1895. There, you will find the classroom and the living rooms of the parish clerk, known from the movie Kevade. The heart of the museum is located in the freshly completed main building, where you will also find a classroom and a workshop. The main exhibition of the main building is meant for the whole family, reflecting the history of the Estonian parish schools through Kevade. Avinurme Puiduait Arts & Crafts Store has the largest selection of wooden handicrafts in Estonia. In addition to water buckets, there are ladles as well as foot- and headrests. In addition to local wood crafts, we sell Estonian natural cosmetics, as well as beautiful textiles and carpets. Seminars at Trofee Hunting Lodge
There are two seminar rooms in the Trofee Hunting Lodge - a larger room which will comfortably accommodate up to 80 people in theatre style or 30 people at a U-shaped table, and a smaller room which will accommodate up to 20 people. The fittings in the rooms are easy to rearrange so as to meet your needs and ensure that your event is exactly how you want it to be - and a great success. Laiuse Straw Museum
Laiuse Handwork Chamber Golden Straw or Laiuse Straw Museum offers its guests the possibility to visit an exhibition which shows straw, reed and birch bark objects made using different techniques (weaving, plaiting and intarsia), ornamental straw objects and decorations. Visitors have the possibility to buy or order souvenirs.
Udu Farm
Udu Farm is a lovely holiday complex on the shores of Lake Kuremaa. The historical Palamuse and Kuremaa castles are just a few kilometres away. Guests have the use of 12 cabins, a sauna, a large party building, 4 covered areas, an extreme plastic film sauna and a children's play area. You can also rent the sauna complex, which has its own kitchenette and which accommodates 12-19 people on the upstairs level. Boats are available for hire and you can go fishing on the lake.
Kuningamäe Winter Centre
Kuningamägi hill in Põltsamaa has an exciting new addition – a slope for mountain sports that is open to all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts! On the slope with a 140-metre ascent, you can ride the snowboard or ski for about a couple of hundred metres. The profile of the track is intended for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts, but is also suitable for more experienced athletes. A lift takes you to the hill and you will find small jumps, pipes, and boxes when descending. It is also possible to rent a small amount of snowboard equipment (board, boots, clips, helmet) on site. The Ankur restaurant and bar is situated in the centre of Mustvee and can seat up to 100. Group catering is available on request.
Paduvere Farm Museum
The museum introduces the life led by farmers in the 18th century and the everyday lives and work of our forefathers. There are five oak sculptures created by St Petersburg artist Grigori Azarenkov by the museum. The museum is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, which make it a popular venue for folk parties and theatre performances.
Virtus Hostel
Virtus Hostel forms part of a large sports complex. It provides accommodation to athletes and those attending sports camps. It is situated far away from the nearest town to allow visitors to enjoy true peace and quiet, but close enough to allow them to walk there within just 10 minutes.
Põltsamaa Castle Restaurant Konvent seminar rooms
The restaurant Konvent is located between the castle walls of Põltsamaa – it is a cosy place for organising seminars as well as celebrating various events, such as birthdays and weddings. The large and spacious room can accommodate up to 100 people. There is Wi-Fi and seminar equipment in the room. You can also order coffee breaks and lunch and dinner from us! Catering for groups is available upon reservation.
