Palamuse O. Luts’s Parish School Museum
The historical Palamuse Parish Schoolhouse is now open to visitors as it was seen in 1895. There, you will find the classroom and the living rooms of the parish clerk, known from the movie Kevade. The heart of the museum is located in the freshly completed main building, where you will also find a classroom and a workshop. The main exhibition of the main building is meant for the whole family, reflecting the history of the Estonian parish schools through Kevade. A cosy and comfortable café located near historic Põltsamaa castle. Come and enjoy great food and company on our outdoor terrace or in our snug and warm café. All families, groups and passers-by whose mind and body needs some replenishing are welcome.
Udu Farm
Udu Farm is a lovely holiday complex on the shores of Lake Kuremaa. The historical Palamuse and Kuremaa castles are just a few kilometres away. Guests have the use of 12 cabins, a sauna, a large party building, 4 covered areas, an extreme plastic film sauna and a children's play area. You can also rent the sauna complex, which has its own kitchenette and which accommodates 12-19 people on the upstairs level. Boats are available for hire and you can go fishing on the lake.
