Seminars at Trofee Hunting Lodge
There are two seminar rooms in the Trofee Hunting Lodge - a larger room which will comfortably accommodate up to 80 people in theatre style or 30 people at a U-shaped table, and a smaller room which will accommodate up to 20 people. Palamuse O. Luts’s Parish School Museum
The historical Palamuse Parish Schoolhouse is now open to visitors as it was seen in 1895. There, you will find the classroom and the living rooms of the parish clerk, known from the movie Kevade. The heart of the museum is located in the freshly completed main building, where you will also find a classroom and a workshop. The main exhibition of the main building is meant for the whole family, reflecting the history of the Estonian parish schools through Kevade. Aruküla hill recreation area
There is a lovely recreation area on Aruküla hill in Kaarepere which is perfect for families, friends, and larger groups. There is a playground with swings and a slide, especially loved by younger children. You can rest under the shelter or on benches or your own picnic blanket. Barbecue facilities are also available on site. Visitors can also play disc golf (there is a rental point). The Struve Geodetic Arc is also located in the recreation area. The view of Vooremaa from the hill is magnificent and there is plenty of room for camping.
Põltsamaa Wine Cellar
Põltsamaa Wine Cellar has become one of the town's true tourist magnets. Here you can taste and buy all the wines from the local wine selection. In summer 2023 an exquisite restaurant called Oberpahlen was opened near the cellar. Come and enjoy wines from Põltsamaa and other places of Estonia as well as delicious food from the restaurant menu. In addition, the cellar offers wine tasting packages for groups including either three or five wines.
Laiuse Straw Museum
Laiuse Handwork Chamber Golden Straw or Laiuse Straw Museum offers its guests the possibility to visit an exhibition which shows straw, reed and birch bark objects made using different techniques (weaving, plaiting and intarsia), ornamental straw objects and decorations. Visitors have the possibility to buy or order souvenirs.
Coop Hotel
Coop Hotel is located on the main street of Jõgeva, in the city centre, in a house with a dignified history. Laiuse fortress ruins
Construction of the Laiuse fortress was launched by the Livonian Order in the late 14th century to defend its eastern borders. The first defensive structure in Estonia to be fitted with firearms, it gained its definitive appearance in the late Middle Ages. Cannon towers were added to the fortress in the mid-15th century. The fortress crumbled in 1559 but was restored, with wooden barracks built at the end of the Swedish era, which accommodated Karl XII and his entourage from 1700–1701. After the Great Northern War the fortress lay in ruins.
Winter village
At the beginning of wintertime, the whole winter village becomes a Christmas wonderland. Santa's brother Glämmi lives with elves and other characters in the Torma Manor complex in Jõgeva County. The winter village puts everyone in a Christmas mood, regardless of age. During the week, we welcome groups from kindergartens, schools, and companies. Restaurant Kosmos
The restaurant consists of two parts: an 80-seat main dining room and a separate private dining room for up to 35 guests. The main dining room offers a cosy atmosphere and WiFi. The small dining room is suitable for smaller gatherings booked in advance (birthdays, company parties).
