Garlic Festival
The 10th Garlic Festival will be held in Kuremaa, Jõgeva County. At the fair, Estonian crafts and food will be sold, as well as different garlic-themed products. There will also be an exciting culture programme and workshops. The Garlic Festival offers something for the young and the old, mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers!
Peipsi Food Street 175 km
The third Peipsi Food Street 175 km will take place from 20th to 21st of August from Vasknarva to Saabolda. Pop-up restaurants will be opened on a road that is 175 km long in total. The restaurants offer dishes and drinks made only from the fresh local raw ingredients. The festival features local restaurants as well as pop-up restaurants from all over Estonia. Peipsi food comes from the local lakes, forests, fields, bogs, and marshes. It is diverse and full of different cultures, traditional but also new. The main value is the people who bring the food to the table.
Suur Paunvere Exhibition and Fair
The traditional Paunvere Fair offers everything from food and plants to handicrafts and clothing. There will be several cultural programmes, a barbeque competition, animal shows, and different activities for children. The most unique / biggest garden produce will be selected at a special show and guests wearing costumes will win prizes. If you want, you can admire the views of Palamuse and Vooremaa from a helicopter. * Palamuse O. Luts’s Parish School Museum, Palamuse Church, Palamuse Pharmacy and Palamuse Watermill.
