Kalevipoeg's Home consists of the Kalevipoeg Museum, Kalevipoeg's Adventure Park, Kalevipoeg's Playground, and Saare Community Centre. The Kalevipoeg Museum provides an excellent overview of the Estonian national epic "Kalevipoeg". In the Kalevipoeg's Adventure Park, you can choose between lower or higher adventure trails and challenge yourself between the ground and the sky. Those who wish can also play discgolf. Palamuse O. Luts’s Parish School Museum
The historical Palamuse Parish Schoolhouse is now open to visitors as it was seen in 1895. There, you will find the classroom and the living rooms of the parish clerk, known from the movie Kevade. The heart of the museum is located in the freshly completed main building, where you will also find a classroom and a workshop. The main exhibition of the main building is meant for the whole family, reflecting the history of the Estonian parish schools through Kevade. Karu Holiday Home
Laiusevälja in Jõgeva County is an authentic Estonian village with fields of grazing animals and dusty roads in summer lined with stalks of grain. The courtyard of Karu Holiday Home is designed to look like it would have done last century, replete with apple tress and berry bushes. The holiday home offers year-round accommodation for up to 9 people, while its dining table seats up to 14. The building also has all of the facilities needed to serve the disabled.
Laiuse Straw Museum
Laiuse Handwork Chamber Golden Straw or Laiuse Straw Museum offers its guests the possibility to visit an exhibition which shows straw, reed and birch bark objects made using different techniques (weaving, plaiting and intarsia), ornamental straw objects and decorations. Permanent exhibition “Lake Peipus Living Room”
Lake Peipus Living Room is a permanent exhibition that gives visitors information about the natural conditions in Lake Peipus and the lives of people living by the lake. You can see models of the 34 species of fish that inhabit Lake Peipus. There is also a three-dimensional model of the lake that is 4 m long and 1.4 m wide and also shows the location of the towns and villages, accommodation establishments, museums, watchtowers and other places of interest near the lake. Õuna Holiday House
Õuna Holiday House is located in the middle of Jõgeva County, at the crossroad of the Piibe highway and Jõgeva-Põltsamaa highway. The interior decor is cosy, with a comfortable, old-fashioned style. Enjoy quiet evenings in the cafe watching television or conversing with a colleague. In summer the beautiful landscaping, flower garden, berry grove, fruit tree grove, smoker oven and grill area are perfect for a barbeque or for just having a relaxing time. Exhibition “Samovars and Old Believers”
The exhibition's collection contains more than 50 samovars from various eras, countries, with different shapes and heating methods. The oldest samovar dates back to 1810. Samovars are accompanied by a multitude of tea glass holders (more than a hundred pieces). Photos of Russian Old Believers illustrate the walls. The exhibition also contains traditional items of the Old Believers, such as tea time and everything it entails, clothing, furniture, church equipment, icons, iconostasis, lampada, lestovkas, podrusniks, etc. You can also buy souvenirs, handicrafts and novelty products by the brand Varvara Gourmet.
Sarapiku Farm Corn Labyrinth
Toretalu Farm awaits guests to solve the game hidden in the corn jungle and take part in other activities put up at the yard that test their cleverness and skills. In the corn labyrinth you have to find six check points with a map. The corn has grown to the size of a person, there are many converging paths in the jungle and finally you have to find the exit. Are you ready for the test?
