Männikjärv hiking trail offers wonderful views of Lake Männikjärv and the bog surrounding it. The hiking trail enables you to walk through a boreo-nemoral forest; the 2.2 km trail is suitable for a beginner. The trail is marked with red signs on trees, and it takes about 1 hour to complete it. Udu Farm
Udu Farm is a lovely holiday complex on the shores of Lake Kuremaa. The historical Palamuse and Kuremaa castles are just a few kilometres away. Guests have the use of 12 cabins, a sauna, a large party building, 4 covered areas, an extreme plastic film sauna and a children's play area. You can also rent the sauna complex, which has its own kitchenette and which accommodates 12-19 people on the upstairs level. Boats are available for hire and you can go fishing on the lake.
Aruküla hill recreation area
There is a lovely recreation area on Aruküla hill in Kaarepere which is perfect for families, friends, and larger groups. There is a playground with swings and a slide, especially loved by younger children. You can rest under the shelter or on benches or your own picnic blanket. Barbecue facilities are also available on site. Visitors can also play disc golf (there is a rental point). The Struve Geodetic Arc is also located in the recreation area. The view of Vooremaa from the hill is magnificent and there is plenty of room for camping.

To keep both your mind and your body in the best possible shape, come and spend a refreshing day on the Kuremaa skiing tracks. There isa track to suit everyone, from beginners to seasoned skiers, in stunning surroundings. You can relax after your exertions in the Kuremaa sauna and pool.

The Great Paunvere Exhibition and Fair with long-standing traditions, but with a new face, will be hold already for the 25th time! One of the highlights of this year's fair is domestic and organic production, especially the products of the Palamuse region. All new and old traders - with handicrafts, agricultural products, antiques or other exciting stuff - hurry to register, because we expect up to twenty thousand visitors in total!
