Weaving a chipwood basket is the most popular attraction in the wooden handicraft centre and if there's a place in Estonia where this craft is known, it's Avinurme. Everyone can learn the basics of weaving a basket in the workshop with the help of an instructor: you pick out chipwood, weave a berry basket from the chips and finally apply a finish. Jerjomin Glass Studio OÜ makes glass souvenirs and art by melting glass. We sell handcraft products and guests can take part in making the products. Our aim is to offer our customers beautiful, genuine and quality goods and great service. We also have workshops where an instructor will give tips on how you can make your own souvenirs or anything else. A few days later, after the glass melting procedure is finished, guests will receive their souvenir by mail.
Winter snowshoe hike in Männikjärve bog
The winter snowshoe hike takes the participants to discover Männikjärve bog in the Endla Nature Reserve. The purpose of the hike is to look for bog pools buried under the snow and explore Männikjärv and Endla lakes. In the middle of the hike, we will make a stop by the lake – we will tell stories, drink tea, and make pancakes on the campfire!
